Tenerife Round Island Trip
Pick up time between 8.30 and 9.30 in resort.
Return journey starts around 4.00pm with return to accommodation around 5 - 6.30 pm.
Vilaflor/ Teide/ Orotava/ Puerto de la Cruz/ Icod/Guarachico/ Masca/ Los Gigantes
We travel up to the picturesque village of Vilaflor and onto the spectacular Mount Teide.
From here we go down the other side of the Volcano through the beautiful and lush Orotava valley to the North of the island and visit first the town of Oratava with its unique House of Balconies, before travelling down to Puerto de la Cruz for a brief visit.
Our next place of interest is Icod de Los Vinos with its famous Dragon Tree which is thousands of years old.
From Icod we move down to the coast town of Guarachico which was partially destroyed in the last volcanic eruption of 1706.
It was once the most important port on the island. From here we travel the very mountainous road to the hidden gem of Masca, a pretty little village which used to be occupied by pirates .
Our last port of call is Los Gigantes with its magnificent cliffs rising sheer out of the sea and its picturesque harbour.
From here we travel home along the coast road arriving back at resort between 5 and 6-30.p.m
